She spent over a decade at ITN/ITV News, progressing through roles including Sports Producer, Economics Producer, Deputy News Editor and News Editor before leading the newsgathering planning team. Before joining ITN she worked as an online producer at Thomson Reuters. Having transitioned from the newsroom to consultancy, Carly shares her understanding of how newsrooms operate, offering strategic advice on pitching, timing and building relationships to maximise client coverage.
